I have called this website Berean Studies because together with other Christians I believe that the Bible is God’s word to us, and as such, it is the only authority with regard to Christian teaching and living. When the Apostle Paul brought the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to Berea ( Acts 17:10-12), the Jews there searched the scriptures daily to see if this teaching was part of God’s promise to them. They didn’t just take the word of a man but wanted to be assured that it was God’s word to them. In doing so, they were greatly blessed and safeguarded. We too shall be blessed and safeguarded if we adopt this approach.
